- Whisperycat, you back for more?
-
Have you licked your wounds from the last time you dared answer one of my posts with this type of dirty kitty litter?
You were as vulnerable as anyone else to these flaws, for the entire duration of the time period for which no Microsoft fix was available.
What part of "hardening" don't you understand? I was never vulnerable to any of these vulnerabilities because I spent 2 minutes to implement proactive defenses. You do understand what that means, don't you? Only a fool like you relies on a single layer of defense so that a vulnerability in that single layer has comprimised your entire machine. There would have to be the exact right series of 0-day exploits and all would have to hit my machine at exactly the same time for anything to do any real damage on my machine. I know it blows your mind because you don't have even minimal skills with Windows but yes, Windows can be hardened and it only takes a couple minutes.
Right now, as you tap out your smug "Well there is no problem if I've never been affected" posts, you are vulnerable again, to all the exploits Microsoft won't get a fix out for, until NEXT time
Awww, my smug post? Do I detect a hint of anger that maybe, just maybe, my confidence is a blow to all you believe about Windows and its users? Regardless, I will point out one huge difference here between Windows users and the Linux/OSX zealots: I never, even once, suggested there wasn't a problem that needed patching. Reread my post and quote me where I said that or be a grown up and reply to this post with an apology. Linux/OSX zealots will rant on and on about why it isn't a problem. I merely said that my hardening has protected me, not that there wasn't a problem. Big difference.
Your "hardening" is always after the fact.
Your reading comprehension is near 0 isn't it?! To be honest, I haven't even applied the patches yet because my hardening was before the fact. I'm sorry you are too incompetent to do this on your Windows machine but that says more about you than it does about Windows.
Your "hardening" cannot, and never will, address any issue which has not already been discovered.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! QUOTE OF THE DAY!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Silly whisperycat, of course it can. Otherwise, companies wouldn't hire security experts, they would hire "patch appliers" who sat around all month until Patch Tuesday. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! You did more to damage your reputation with that comment than I could do in 100 replies!
Please, please, please respond to this post. You brightened my day! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! - Posted by: NonZealot Posted on: 11/15/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
