You were as vulnerable as anyone else to these flaws, for the entire duration of the time period for which no Microsoft fix was available. Right now, as you tap out your smug "Well there is no problem if I've never been affected" posts, you are vulnerable again, to all the exploits Microsoft won't get a fix out for, until NEXT time. In the meantime, WIndows continues to be the ONLY OS with vulnerabilities which allow drive-by-infection from malware.

(Quote from article - "Three of the security holes could be exploited remotely by an anonymous attacker without the user having to take any action, such as clicking on a link")

Who really gives a rats ass if ONE MS fan boy repeatedly asserts they've never had a problem? The problem exists. The problems whic will be fixed next month, or the month after, exist NOW, and your precious hardened machine is affected by them whether you like to dwell on that fact or not. Your "hardening" is always after the fact. Your "hardening" cannot, and never will, address any issue which has not already been discovered. In the meantime, your "hardened" machine is susceptible to, and maybe even already infected by, every single exploit that Microsoft will address *in the future*.
