Cause I can see the s**t flying at me now. I really really hate to say this but I don't really think you can out too much blame at Microsoft's door on this. It sounds more like someone else is doing the certifying this cr@p and not MS. It sounds as if the only thing MS is really doing is creating something within their browser that identifies which of those have gotten these certificates. I honestly don't think this is one of those cases where MS is trying to shaft anybody or sneak something in. And if I ready the article correctly it is being released to the corps first because they are the heaviest target of phishing scams. And it is almost like a beta test so to speak. We b**ch and we moan that MS does nothing to prevent this. Now MS has a start on it (or am I the only one who noticed that this was a start and they are developing it) and still people aren't happy?

I think a lot of people will be panicking for nothing. But there are two sides to every coin. With the security measures that are available today then why don't companies just block specific site or only allow you to go to certain ones. A lot of people enjoy immense web surfing freedom at work and then they abuse it. Maybe it is also time to crack the whip there.
