An LLC cannot get an EV SSL. You have to be totally incorporated. RTFlippingA.

One owner of an LLC made his issues clear. Not being incorporated, he caouldn't get an EV SSL.

Being incorporated involves more than being registered as a legitimate business entity. There are rules and regulations reguarding how your corporation is run and those rules are often too hrestrictive for small businesses. That is why you can register as a C-Corp, an S-Corp an LLC, etc.

So what if I can register for a mere US$25 in Colorado and a mere US$125 in metro Atlanta, etc.? It doesn't mean that incorporating is a viable option for my small business and that means that I cannot obtain an EV SSL and won't have a green bar. Do some research and then repost.
