Realize...

...that exploits that don't require ActiveX are in the extreme minority. Windows users would actually stand a good chance of not becoming part of a botnet if it weren't for ActiveX. And even in this case, the infection becomes instantly much worse trying to clear (probably beyond the skills of most home users) because of ActiveX.

You make the same amazing leap of logic that so many others on this forum make: A dozen exploits is the equal of 130,000 exploits. Say...if I fired a dozen bullets at you versus 130,000 rounds, in which scenario do you think I'd have the better chance of hitting you?
