You don't seem to understand the problem.
The problem is not how YOU get to avoid this
problem. the problem is that millions of people
are not going to install a browser when they
already get one for free with the OS. Why bother?
Install software? They are lucky to know what a
scroll bar is.

As long as these millions have this problem, they
will be helping to innundate OUR internet by letting
their computers bombard us all with junk, and all
the "IT Professionals" will look at the forged
"From:" email address and helpfully (?) send them
notices like, "YOU SPAMMED ME WITH A VIRUS!" crap.
Further overloading the whole system, and rendering
it much less useable.

THAT is the problem.

Quit thinking about yourself so much. And, how
clever you are because your brilliant decision solved (maybe) 1/100,000,000,000 th of the problem.
