It is not my contention that Firefox has NO security flaws -- I never said otherwise. Heck, the "Zap THe Dingbat" attack was partially effective on it. But it certainly has less security flaws than IE. All that you have to do is read.

The Sun Java Plug-in runs in it's own sandbox, and is more tightly controlled than ActiveX. I can still write unsigned ActiveX controls that write to the file system. With Java, the user is prompted as to whether they should allow such access.

If you were to actually use the browser for an extended time, the choice becomes obvious. I used to like Netscape ... then I switched to IE. I have also tinkered with Opera. But Firefox leaves them all behind.
