--Hmm, it's just soldiers in Iraq that actually and desperately
require flak jackets. Does that mean that soldiers in Iraq have
thinner skin than citizens in Ohio? BTW, AV software is the worst
method of protecting a Windows machine since it is 100%
reactive. Sorry, I prefer proactive defenses so I prefer not to rely
on AV.--

Red Herrings, does not change the fact that Windows machines
need AV software.

--You'll have to point out the illegality of their OEM deals as it
relates to maintaining their OS monopoly. Unless you can show
otherwise, Microsoft got in trouble for using their legally
acquired and maintained Windows monopoly in order to acquire
a browser monopoly. Your link talks about the browser wars. I
think you need to review the timeline. First Microsoft achieved
90% of the desktop OS market, then they got in trouble for
leveraging that monopoly to get into other markets. My
discussion with Harry was around the OS, not the browser. Try
to stay on topic please!--

Still proves they did a lot of exclusionary deals.
Whether they did it before or after getting big doesn't matter,
their criminal behavior is a well documented fact.
