Security hole?
The so called holes that hacks are exploiting are not in security at all. These holes are in places where security can't address. The actual OS and apps are being attacked because they are poorly written and designed. We can beef up security, take security on the road as to teach such, or do whatever you want in regards to security. But no one is actually attacking IT security or It that can be secured. Lock your doors and windows and even bar thgem but that hole in your wall is where the crooks are getiing in. While you are buying more locks and stronger doors, the crooks are laughing as the steal you blind coming in and out freely through the hole in your wall. What part of IT security have the recent hacks been exploiting? What security tools will stop buffer overflow hacks or hacks that exploit flawed code of any kind? This misdirected approach is only going to allow the attacks to continue. And the losers will be the IT consumer. The hackers won't be deterred and those providing the so called security solutions will benifit. The consumer, however, will be suffering more. He will still be open to hacks and now he has been paying for non-effective solutions. Those solution providers are actually worse than the hackers. The hackers are not getting anything from their exploits but the bogus solution providers are making a profit. FIX THE FLAWED CODE AND THEN WE CAN SEE IF OUR SECURITY HAS A PROBLEM.
