Better the Devil you know
than the one you don't. The mere premise that creating this tool is a bad thing is rediculous. I want my security IT guys to have the best tools to prevent a black hat attack on my system. I want their tools to be better than what is available to the bad guys. I realize that the bad guys will get their hands on the software at some point (if not already) but at least my weapons will be as good as theirs.
