From the standpoint of most of these statements made here, they do not run Windows so the fact remains it does not matter how much it cost. Second, when the majority of people purchase a computer it comes with an operating system. So your argument does not hold water, what are they trying to buy, who cannot afford it. Most people cannot pay cash for a new ice box that cost $1500 but they are able to buy it anyways. So I do not see the logic behind all of these people who cannot afford to purchase Windows Vista, plus the fact it has not even been released yet.

When I go to the store I see lots of things I would desire, but cannot purchase them. Do I go home and cry about it, no I do not. I have never heard of a person crying over computer software muchless an operating system, now that I find is 'laughable' to the 10th degree.

I have no issues with anyone, so I find that laughable to.
