Your response indicates you don't know how to comprehend well. The article states that linux users are over confident and this is a draw back.

Danger of treating the linux kernel as secure and reliable? Trust me, no one except a few fan boys actually believe that. Linux needs to be very worried about their kernel.

In a nutshell for you. Just because it says OSS on the label doesn't mean it's anywhere near as great as the Linux kernel.

That would mean that the linux kernel would have to be great first, which it is not. I've pointed out the many faults of it plenty of times on here.
