Are they really the same?
I happen to like both browsers, though I have to admit that I am having trouble getting used to the new toolbar in IE7 and can't remember that the 'x' to close a tab is on the tab now on FF2.

However, I always thought IE and Windows were kinda joined at the hip, so an IE crash would leave a hole in the OS. I had rather hoped that FF was more in the user application space in any of the operating systems and therefore didn't offer up as much if it crashed.

Perhaps my view is over-simplified?
