Another example of insight by experts on the industry:

"Analysts, however, noted that Microsoft faces challenges other security software vendors do not. That challenge comes from ensuring its anti-spyware will work with its operating system, because it plans to bundle it with Vista."

No other security software vendor expects to be be able to work with Vista. Microsoft will have the market to itself.

Still, it's difficult to fill out a news article on this subject given that the news is only that Microsoft has removed the designation "Beta" from Windows Defender.
