Windows Defender. Are you serious?
As an avid pc user since the mid 80's, there is no way you can compare Windows Defender with any product that is manufactured by either Symantec, McAfee or Trend Micro. I've tried Windows Defender Beta & it couldn't find anything. The only thing it really found was Winpatrol & almost un-installed it.

I recently purchased for both my HP A450Y & Dell E1505 Symantec's Internet Security 2007 and it rocks from a security standpoint. The parental controls & anti spam modules are password protected. In addition, the boot time has significantly increased from Internet Security 2006.

Microsoft should stick to just operating systems, which is something they "should" know how to do & not get into the realm of security.

Any responses would be appreciated.
