CORRECTION : PCs Not Windows
The fact of the matter is that as long as PCs are prevalent; this will continue.

It really doesn't matter which operating system people are using. As long as you have millions of users running as root logging in to their bank accounts and then clicking on foreign web scripts, you are going to have people writing exploits to profit from them.

Heck, with widespread 3G use, you won't even need an operating system. Just pluck the credit card numbers and personal information right out of the air with a sniffer.
