Security rivals shut out of Microsoft meeting
Well if Symantec and McAfee didn't make a big stink over this to begin with there never would have been a conference call and this wouldn't have happened. But oh no, McAfee and Symantec are much too worried about their bottom line and revenue stream on their failing business model. Well tough for them.

But there is good news to this situation...

Those issues were resolved and the meeting resumed, the representative said. Other meetings are scheduled for later today, including one at 5 pm, which Symantec and McAfee say they will try to join.

Issue was resolved and the meeting resumed. A happy ending for all. We use Live Meeting here and haven't had one single crash. Must have been a one time deal at Microsoft so its excusable. These sorts of things happen.

"But if the link didn't work to the Live Meeting this morning, who is going to say it is going to work this afternoon?" Paden asked.

And we have a winner for the dumbest asked question. I suppose it never occurred to them that Microsoft was full of engineers that fixed the problem quickly.
