Guess you also missed the part where the
flexibility of Linux and Open Source allow a quick fix by moving from the closed source driver to the Open Source driver resolves the issue. Something you cannot really do with Microsoft with confidence. And the ability to make the change takes literally 5 minutes to perform, without a reboot of the system. Also there is a fix in the works, which from what I understand should be out pretty soon. devil
