This problem is prolonged by the participants..
...the hackers and those who fight them - the makers of A-V suites and the patch departmenets of O/S developers. Consultants don't have anything to do with this particular game of cat and mouse.

I happen to know some consultants who through their work have helped a lot of companies harden themselves against all types of malware. They're improved processes have significatnly reduced their risk of malware infections.
