My experience show the opposite of your statement.

Now if you are talking about successfully hacked, well that honor goes to Windows. I've yet to see a hacking attempt work on a Linux server that has been properly secured but this does not mean the attempts stop. Intrusion Detection software shows the hacking attempts are equal between Windows, Unix, and Linux.
