Yes, the 'have a thing and know a thing' combo...
I'm glad that someone brought that up, because it's an excellent format that allows for us to be human... which, frankly, isn't optional. Crying that users aren't perfect isn't going to answer the problem, developing a better password policy is.

Whether from SecureID, the best in my opinion, or any other provider -- having two levels, in something you know (your PIN) and something you have (the FOB), combined to make a password is the most secure of the class.

Add the pass code of the SecureID FOB to a decent pass phrase and - tada - you'll have good security results without having to memorize the impossible or jot it down on your office white board.
