This should tell us something
Biometrics are inevitable. As others have observed, people access lots of different sites, and it's not even possible to use the same password/username combination on all of them. Some generate the username for you, some generate the passwords, the rules differ. Plus then we're told to keep changing our passwords (you can hardly change 100 passwords every week), and make them more and more impossible to memorise. And now we're surprised people write them down?
