gotitwrong...that's a little unfair...
Since obviously there is no way to test either what I said or what you said since Linux is...and for at least the near future...will remain on the bottom.

However, I think your logic is far more flawed. As I said in another part of the posting, ciminals go for the target that gives them the potential for the most profit with the least risk. It has nothing to do with being "the easiest" unless you correlate that to being the least risky avenue.

As for script kiddies and other virus writers who do it "for fun" - they are going to do it in the way that can do the most damage and potentially get their name in the papers, websites, and blogs. So, as a result, they work against the Microsoft OS.

You probably don't want to debate this with me because I am the type of person that in order for you to change my view you will have to PROVE what I said is wrong and PROVE what you say is right. Just telling me I'm wrong simply goes in one ear and out the other. Especially when you imply your creditials such as in the comment "if you were into security you would know this" yet you offer no credentials of your own such as "I am the head of security for ABC Corporation" or something like this. Likewise posting anonymous creditials doesn't give you any validity either. (i.e. they can't be verified because there is no name or organization attached)

So, you are right in the sense that I am NOT a security expert. However, I am a graduate student in a clinical doctorate program in Minnesota and have performed extensive research into areas of social deviance and anti-social behavior. Prior to this acedemic venture I have worked in the computer field as a senior network engineer for companies such as American Express, Norwest Banks, and 1st Banks (now US Banks). I would gladly provide my name for verification to anyone who would want to communicate with me privately.
