Even if MS dropped off the face of the earth completely there would still be a problem. There will always be an exploit somewhere. The more technology advances the more the criminals do too.

I get a huge kick out of people who have the attitude that they don't have to worry about viruses because they don't use Windows or IE. The simple fact that there are exploits out there for other OS and software besides MS products proves that hackers and criminals will find a vulnerability if it exists no matter what. And since when has technology ever been absolutely perfect?
