OS is irrelevant
If you truly believe the weakest link - users - would be changed by simply deploying Linux (or any other OS), you're a bigger fool than I thought.

Most users dislike security, and think it's a waste of their time. It wouldn't matter if they were using Linux, Mac, Windows, or any other OS - they'd still select easily remembered (and easily guessed) passwords, write them down on Post-It Notes, and click on all manner of links.

Trying to relate this to Microsoft users only is pure grandstanding, nothing more.
