Symantec for Security? Hahahahaha
Seriously. Their consumer products are terrible resource hogs, not well-designed for the typical end user, nor are they easily configurable.

NOW, they want to tack on some "identification" security to their ineffective bloatware? Is Security 2.0 like Web 2.0? Just vaporware buzzwords?

The only real security is end user education (and getting over the shame/guilt of visting adult sites or illegal filesharing) coupled with an easily-understood product. RoboForm probably comes closest to this right now(as long as you don't lose your flash drive and it keeps working).
