DOA: Norton Account is dangerous idea, won't work
The "Norton Account" feature of "Security 2.0" is an unworkable idea, just as Microsoft Passport was. Any time you put a person's confidential information on ANYONE's server - no matter how well-meaning they intend to be - you put that information at risk. How long will it be before some careless Symantec employee loses their laptop with millions of "Norton Account" identities stolen by a hacker?

It's time this idea is recognized for what it is: an unsolvable problem. No company - repeat, NO COMPANY - can be trusted with private information in any kind of common repository. Symantec should give it up now, before it's too late.
