Only the latest in a series of problems
This particular iteration of problem may be new, but Sammy has have many problems with installation before. In fact, so many that we shy away from their products.

Typical scenario: Try to install new version over old version. Everything crashes. At that point, you may or may NOT be able to get the computer to reboot normally. You may have to use Safe Mode. Then, you can't even get the install to START again until you MANUALLY remove ALL traces of the new AND old program from the registry. Not something I'd like to do, and certainly not something for a rank novice to do.
