Windows Security Center..
... is included with SP-2. It is a centralized location to set all of your security settings or to see what the settings actually mean. After installing SP-2, the user is prompted to turn on Automatic Updates - and the NO button gives you the warning that it is NOT a good idea to not run AU.

There are many parts of SP-2 that are excellent for the novice user or the ones who don't know anything about security configurations. Unfortunately, it is these same people who will be pestering their more savvy friends and relatives to help them do things they used to do without any hassles. I just hope that the friends and relatives take the time to explain WHY the lockdown is important. And that they understand that they cannot be allowed to continue to run unsecured boxes spready viruses, spamming the immediate world, or DDoSing other sites/servers. Owning a computer and operating it have become just as important as driving a motor vehicle with almost as must potential for damage.
