Not when you consider the cost of multiple operating systems and software....I don't buy that as a "feature" when a full install of Windoz will cost another $300.

If you will agree to a small price compare:

$1099 Apple? 1.83GHz MacBook (MA254LL/A)
1.83mhz (least inexpensive)

$799 Toshiba Satellite? 15.4? Widescreen Notebook PC (A105-S4254) I believe this computer to have more capability for less money ($300 Less).

I still believe there to be a price PREMIUM on Apple. I wish Apple the best, I think choice is important when a monopoly market exists. Personal spending is somewhat different. Why should I pay more? BTW, I do own an older Apple.
