- VOIP Costing American Jobs
- VOIP enables international corporations to export all their call centers cheaply to nations where underpaid labor is readily available to be exploited. If the feds really wanted to do something good for this country, they would put a stiff enough tax on international VOIP to make it more expensive to route the calls overseas than to employ local workers at their call centers. Unfortunately the corporations who own both houses of Congress and the White House will never allow this. Instead we'll continue to see the greedy corporations export as many jobs as possible in order to boost their stock prices. The election is coming. We badly need a change.
