A network monitor will tell you
that there are times virus traffic is so thick it slows down our Internet connection. Let's recalculate our TCO's for THAT little gem of information. The help desk spends more time on virus infections than it does answering productivity questions. Just the TCO difference in our office would be staggering, now multiply that by millions. *shudder*

And this quote was interesting:

"a system will receive a network packet from a MSBlast-infected computer within one second of connecting to the Internet"

That means if you had to reinstall Windows you couldn't even connect to MS to update to the latest patches without getting infected.

Wintendo = Bug Farm

Bummer about people switching is that it's such easy money fixing MS crapware. Every new Mac and Linux customer is lost business.
