Millions still infected
Brought my new work laptop home a month or so ago to set it up with XP and to play with it a bit. I plugged it into my hub and minutes after bringing it up, Blaster infected the machine and caused a reboot in the middle of a service pack install - of course it blue screened and I had to reinstall.

I'm sure hundreds of thousands - perhaps even millions - of machines are still infected. I think ISP's should block these people that are infected and force them to clean their machines. It's very easy to detect a machine infected with Blaster with a packet sniffer. We blocked infected machines (mostly laptops) that were brought into our network from outside by setting up a sniffer and blocking MAC addresses in the router. This got their attention quickly.

A successfull class action lawsuit against MS might help things too.
