Have you noticed how many of these vulnerabilities concern functionality that no one uses or cares about? VML files are practically unheard of. The WMF vulnerability involved a really crazy bit of functionality that they tried to add but no one ever used. I don't know what WebViewFolderIcons are, but since I've never heard of them, I doubt they're anything all that critical.

If MS hadn't thrown everything and the kitchen sink into IE, maybe it wouldn't be so vulnerable!
