- O(pen)bfuscated source
-
All computer code are more or less open.
Take for example open source C/C++, think fractions of percents
of those compiling such low/mid range level src understand the the real
CPU registers pushing e.g. "the source", most programmers handling
low/mid level code, even have problems to grasp the switching of
the compilers. API Drones are very common.
All processes of a CPU can be recorded and reassembled, just a matter of time.
Obfuscated code naturally takes longer to interpret.....
Hence, all factors favor the "least hidden" / "least obfuscated" executable code,
as a relative easy to follow, pathway is provided.
But commercial, more or less paranoiac corporations,
frequently managed by "Buzzword Billies",,,
don't disclose (think mostly, don't understand) "their" code at the most direct level,
creating a structure comparable to a pyramid, turned upside down
that frequently crumbles under it's own weight. - Posted by: pj-xmesh Posted on: 10/03/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
