So why is it...
...that Microsoft sends out a patch early, that makes up for all of the times that it's taken them months, perhapse years to patch other major security flaws in Windows? This was actually an easier target for the boys in Redmond to fix - once people found that turning off third party browser extentions fixed the issue, it narrowed the search to only a few files.

It just seems to me that the nice people behind most other browsers and operating systems are generally MUCH faster than Microsoft, like in Apple's AirPort fix, but those are just posts on the ZDNet forums...
