is what is seen with most of the appearance for computers. Would be nice to see a 'bunch of different computers much the same as an auto floor. Although you rarely 'do see different auto makers with different models on the same show floor - it would be nice to see for example 'Dell,HP,Macs,Gateway,IBMs among others together. IBM seems to have a sort of closed shop. Sun for sure is a closed shop. Most what I can see for computers where the specialty shops are not (e.g.retail outlets),is that a lot of space isn't done for computers in particular.
But the specialty shops - I use CompUSA most often, have plenty of different models to choose from. The specific 'name brand isn't all that extoled on where the exposure could be.
With all of these vying for your buck(s),most give good warranties to be competitive, good financing, with several different models 'in brand to choose from. However if it was they could further the 'feature factors among them ,in this way we could see better modding on the OEM side coming out with some certain technology apeals.
Gateway seems as if it wants to be too exclusive for my liking. As they are doing the show room all to themselves - but they have 'very good"" computers and acessories etc. Like seeing them around actually.
