The're creating, but the creation is a monster!

I really don't think programmers per se are the problem. I believe it is the money hungry exec's of these software companies, which are more interested in money than the safety of the consumer. They push the trash they sale out the door without proper quality control. This is nothing less than negligence on their part which would stop immediately if they were held financially responsible for their negligence. Every other producer of consumer goods throughout the world is held responsible for negligence, why is IT different. I have to give the IT press some of the credit for this fiasco. They print only what the IT vendors tell them to print and of course, this makes them just as liable as the vendor.
