I understand that is what
I am to the company is nothing more than a money
maker. It's no different than the Navy, other
than I don't have to go out and kill people
anymore. In the military, to the top commanders,
we are nothing more than numbers to be deployed
and accounted for. If we are lost in battle then
we are replaced by another number. It's the
local unit commanders that value us as
individuals and see what we have to offer.

No different in the corporate world. I really
believe I have some advantages over my civillian
counter parts, in that I truly understand what
it means to be nothing more than a number in the
system. But I am a smart number, one that has
learned through my experience in the Navy how to
survive in any environment.

As the Marines say, Adapt, Improvise, Overcome,
Conquer or Die.
