Appearently you have no clue.
I cannot believe there are still people running around the internet under the false presumption that the demo at Black Hat was the beginning and end of this story.

There was in fact an exploit shown in private to Washington Post reporter Brian Krebs, on a stock Apple laptop. What do you think this new patch is for? Not the third party and drivers shown at the original demo. Maynor and the company he works for SecureWorks are being given no credit for identifying the exploit first and Apple has been using parsed language and obfuscation to try and do an end run around explaining just what SecureWorks supplied them with so Apple could identify the flaws and create the patch. Of course there are plenty of Apple fans who claim Maynor lied to the reporter Krebs and faced the private stock Apple demonstration he reported on in the Washington Post. This week at the Toorcon convention Maynor will be giving an extended and detailed presentation on just what they did discover about this class of exploit which is not specific to Apple, and infact has been found to be workable on Windows and Linux based laptops as well.
