Thats one of the reasons I convinced my 21 yr old nephew to pony up an extra $1000.00 for a Mac Book Pro. I got tired of him and his roomates disableling the Virus and spyware security software. Then opening all the phising emails they recived and going to every driveby porn site there is and wondering why his PC gets owned all the time. AOL disconected him seven times for being a spam bot. I evan dual booted his pc with Suse 10 being the primary boot OS for his roomates but that did not work either. He's computer savy enough to not have it happen but he keeps giving his roommates his admin password. That and he and his roommates think it's funny in a "Jackass the Movie" kind of way. So hopefully that takes care of that problem for him. His roommates will just have to suffer till he gets aroundto cleaning up his PC or they buy their own. Thats not the only reason though, He's a singer song writer and promotes other bands as well so I felt the Mac Book Pro would be better than a PC Lap top for use in his industry. The right tool for the right Job.
