..This whole "joe sixpack can't handle security" nonsense is simply an excuse to cover up the facy that MS doesn't understand security..

So Joe can handle security?
Have you read a book on how hackers get passwords off people by guessing extension numbers and passing off as IT doing an audit?

Same applies to these socially engineered emails that get people to reply with account information. You only need a browser, any one, to get taken by that if you don't spot it a mile away first.
A system is as strong as its weakest user.

Joe needs it man.
He doesn't know what he needs though.
That requires some technical knowledge and he's not going to bother if it's a hassle.
