To The ZDnet members, please if I am way off base foregive me still trying to comprehend all of this Computer related articles ok... But my question is since if I am understanding that they are tring to let the other computer companies come up with other computer write ends that will allow their program software to work or work proper with Microsoft software computers... Well, what I am tring to get at is I bought a new HP-Pavillion with AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 5000+,and still would like to use a scanner that was using on an ole Compaq,it is a Visioneer OneTouch 5600 USB,but due to all the great (ungreat) changes Vista Microsoft Windows has made,it want let me download the driver for the scanner or the PaperPort Deluxe 7.0 program for the images, and was wondering do you thank or is there anything added to this SP1 Update Download that might let older versions of microsoftware such as software for Microsoft Me,and 2000,as well as some Xp to again make work or work better... If not who can I talk to that might help me get something Amended that would allow you to use any computer relates stuff know mater what Software Program it uses... I mean what are you to do just stop using, and throw it away because you make an suppose to be upgrade in computer programing statis... Please email me with your ideas only ok, KYman41@peoplepc.com
