FTC shuts down four spam rings

Four down - forty million to go...: Unless the FTC and other government agencies take Spyware, Spamming and consumer fraud via the Net seriously, it will continue to grow exponentially.

The first adjustment needs to be made to fines and jail sentences. Add several zeros to the fines and a zero to the jail term and now you're talking REALITY.
