What a complete crock...
A number of years ago, it was decided by the courts that driving an automobile was a "privilege," not a "right."

Nope. They wanted to make sure people were competent before they got behind the wheel. They didn't set up checkpoints on every corner to see who was driving where and who they had as passengers.

Obviously, travel by air is also a privilege; if one is bothered that his/her "rights" are being violated, don't fly

"Freedom of movement" is a constitutional right.

You need to remember governments don't have rights, they have powers granted to them by the people. Don't grant them this one...get out and demonstrate. Take away your vote from whoever is proposing it.
