- No fix yet for Word 2000 flaw
-
A story about nothing. This reads like a Seinfeld episode. Its the old 'lets make a big deal over nothing' theory. They didn't release a patch for the flaw yet...so what? Considering the few people that are going to be affected I think Microsoft has bigger concerns. First the flaw needs Windows 2000 AND Word 2000 which eliminates most of the population right there since they are running XP and Office 2003. Then the user has to open it, since most are deathly afraid to open anything on the computer it won't propogate. Not to mention the antivirus software and email filters will pretty much prevent this from ever getting onto a computer. So Microsoft delaying the patch is not a big deal at all.
Oh yeah, I get mentioned again. Eat my shorts nay-sayers. - Posted by: Loverock Davidson Posted on: 09/12/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
