It is a start, not a stopping point
Of any of the things you typed, did I type any of those myself. Didn't mention taxpayers. Didn't type or misspell evil. Just mentioned slippery slopes. Maybe I'm remembering tape conversations by one national party against another that happened not to long ago. Where does overhearing a conversation or picking out a file from a server directory that (unprotected against url stripping) was not red flagging a file for the picking, become eavesdropping or more? Corruption festers in the light as well, and stands tall and speaks from both sides of the mouth, it's called govt in general, Congress on some days, the President on others, and often times, the taxpayer as well (yes that deduction for health expenses was taken care at the Happy Ending Parlor and bar, so what of it?)
