that the full context is necessary in a news story , especially viewable by most web surfers. The content of the govt site may have been thoroughly accessible at varying points and the contents freely viewable, but the news itself should endeavor to not yellow or whittle down content when it affects context. And the nature of the find and release of the material in question brings up as much questions on the nature of the opposing candidate. If a person has no problem with it being Arnold, fine, but what if it's the person who wrote the Attorney General or a judge about a problem with an elected official, and this candidate or new governor elect decides to plum the MySpace or blog of that person to find something of counter interest, . . . maybe just walk over to the phone company and ask for some phone logs from their friend with the connections? Maybe, maybe not.
I say let them fight it out. Whoever survives the deathmatch is governor. - Posted by: Boot_Agnostic Posted on: 09/13/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
