They made it a point in their advertising campaigns, there ads go out of their way to make the Mac User the cool and artistic one - not the techie nerd.

While no one denies that there are computer literate Mac users, to pretend that the majority are techies is just fooling yourself. If they chose a Mac to get work done then they are ignoring the fact that the rest of the commercial world uses Windows. The Mac is not better than the PC at graphics - it offers less choice and has been considerably slower until they finally moved to decent chips.

Face it, the Mac is a lifestyle choice for people with a little too much money to spend.

As to bugs in Quicktime, why does that not surprise me - Quicktime has been a problem on Windows since the beginning. However, do I blame Apple - no. Software development is hard and it will include both stupid mistakes and failure to foresee all the vulnerabilities of any code. What matters is they fix problems when they occur.
