You are absolutely Wrong.
Apple doesn't force the user to do any thing. Apple computer
hardware is capable of running any number of OSs right out of
the box. OS 10, windows, linux, Unix, Solaris... Basically
anything a PC can run. Don't like the OS it comes with format the
drive and quit your whining.

As for iTunes. Apple borrowed a working sales model from the
company that perfected the 'monopoly', MS. The model
description? Lock out your competition, also known as
'netscaped'. ( http://www.investopedia.com/terms/n/
netscaped.asp )

And above all you lob your sloppy arguments just as MS is two
months away from releasing Zune, which is 100% incompatible
with anything but Microsoft products.

At the end of the day iTunes and the iPod work... and work well.
Which is more than I can say for any other media player &
hardware combo. Something tells me thats because they were
developed to only work with each other. Don't like it don't buy.
